Rupert Morris has a Bachelors degree in Media Arts and Digital Technologies from the Alberta College of Art and Design, and a diploma in 3D Modeling and Computer Animation from BCIT, where he graduated in November of 2006. While in the program there he took to 3D like a duck to water, often staying overnight to hog many machines for rendering.
Rupert has over 20 years drawing experience, and recently his creativity was reignited by the world of 3D graphics. His 3D skillset includes: modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering optimization, particles and fluid effects, and to some extent, rigging and weighting.
His hobbies include PHP/XHTML/CSS/AJAX, writing plugins for the popular Wordpress blogging software, performance tuning his vintage Vespa, and listening to sublime electronic music on his stereo. He writes music reviews for his other blog, freshtunes.ca .
Rupert lives in the misty climes of the West Coast of Canada, although he has a European passport and plans to use it.
